DTSA is a broad and inclusive multiple Alliance of schools from all phases.
We are part of a not for profit Charitable Trust and we care deeply about improving learning for all. We believe that every child in every class, in every school deserves the best teaching and learning.
Realising moral purpose for us is about sharing and giving back – a sustained focus on developing open and trusting collaboration that contributes to ‘raising the bar and closing the gap’ in achievement for all children and especially those from disadvantaged groups.
Primary and Secondary School Direct Teacher Training Places for Sept. 2018 now available
DTSA’s School Direct ITT programme is designed and delivered in partnership with Derby University judged to be ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsed and offers QTS with PGCE and 60 masters credits. Your individual training experience will lead to you being deployed in schools which will offer you the best possible opportunities to succeed. We have a large number of schools from all phases and contexts that host students and nearly all get early job offers. Our students help shape the programme to meet their needs – their comments have included:
‘Amazing support from DTSA – always available to discuss any issues – always given good advice and has looked out for each and every one of us.’ ‘Working as a smaller group has been fantastic – the most important part of my year – the support I have had has been wonderful and pulled me through.’
