Teaching Reading and Writing at KS1 and 2 Programme (session 1 of 6)

This programme will ensure schools are aware of any national policy changes and is designed to improve standards of teaching and learning of reading and writing at KS1 and KS2 to at least ‘Good’ with the targeted group on the programme. Each session will contain taught input with practical ideas and strategies to try back at school. There will be plenty of time for discussion and questions. There will be a planned school base ‘Lesson Study’ opportunity and the final session will provide delegates with ideas for leading a staff meeting/Inset event back at their own school. Headteachers are welcome to attend the final session at no cost.
